This medicine is an alpha- and beta-blocker. Its working mechanism influences the blood vessels and heart.
Take Carvedilol orally with water. You may take it with food for the best results. Strictly follow your doctor's instructions. You should follow your dosing schedule in order to achieve the maximal result from this medication. Take at the exact time each day.

Make sure to inform your health care provider in case you have an allergy to Carvedilol, other beta-blockers, medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives; if you have diabetes; thyroid disease; liver disease; asthma, bronchitis or bronchospasm; emphysema, or other lung disease; psoriasis; history of heart attack or heart disease; circulation problems; muscle weakness or disease; depression.
Coreg Side Effects
You should immediately contact a doctor in case you notice any signs of the following side effects: dark urine; weight gain; flu-like symptoms; yellowing of the eyes or skin; continued loss of appetite; dizziness or fainting spells; slow heart rate; irregular heartbeat; difficulty breathing, wheezing; vomiting; swollen legs or ankles; or .skin rash.
For diabetes patients: Coreg may affect blood sugar levels. Talk to your health care specialist about this. You may need a dosage adjustment.
