Advair (Fluticasone)

What is Advair?

Advair drug has a noteworthy anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-edema effect; typically prescribed for asthma treatment. The anti-inflammatory effect is realized by the interaction of the drug with the GCS receptors. The medication inhibits the proliferation of mast cells, eosinophils, lymphocytes, macrophages and neutrophils.

Fluticasone, the active ingredient of Advair, reduces the production of inflammatory mediators and other biologically active substances (histamine, PG and leukotrienes) during the early and late phases of allergic reactions. The drug restores the patient's response to bronchodilators, allowing you to reduce the frequency of their use. The preparation reduces sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose, nasal congestion, discomfort in the sinuses and the feeling of pressure around the nose and eyes. Furthermore, it facilitates ocular symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis.
